Game Of Thrones Season 04 Thewatchseries Complete Reviews

The series from the US TV channel HBO was first broadcast in America in 2011 and is based on the successful novel series The Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. The complex story includes many characters, power struggles,  politics and interpersonal relationships with much visible naked skin.

If you are interested in the show but have not seen any of the first three seasons, feel free to read through my previous articles on each season:

Game Of Thrones Season 02

Much has happened in the third season, but it will not be less in the current season four. The war is still in full swing, but with the destruction of Robb Stark's army, there is hardly any danger from the north. Nevertheless, the situation in the kingdom remains very tense, Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) is still alive. Thewatch series presents about Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) who returns to Königsmund after his long imprisonment, but is more despised than loved by his sister Cersei (Lena Headey). Her brother Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) is married against his will with Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and is hated by his father and siblings even more than before. And though she's very traumatized by a variety of events, she has it better than her sister Arya (Maisie Williams), who is still on the run. Her brother Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), on the other hand, is heading north with Jojen Reet (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), Meera Reet (Ellie Kendrick) and Hodor (Kristian Nairn) to find the three-eyed raven.

As the Lannisters and the Starks become more and more problematic, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) tries to expand her army. Arrived in the city of Yunkai, she convinces most slaves to fight against their masters and not to be oppressed further. Parts of their army invade the city, free the slaves and give them weapons to fight for their freedom. And although the Dragon Lady was able to expand her army, she can control her three dragons less and less.

At the same time, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) returns to the Night Watch and wants to warn them. The wildlings, including Ygritte (Rose Leslie), have teamed up with other peoples and want to overthrow the Night Watch and the Wall.

In short, a few words about quality. As always Warner created an incredible picture on Game of thrones season 04, which is very inviting on the TV or the projector is presented. Alone the farsighted scenes with the dragon lady invite you to spend some time there in the desert or at least to see the place live. The color scheme is very realistic, even the dark scenes remain noise-free. Likewise, the implementation of the sound is almost perfect. The Dolby Digital system has a lot to do in every episode, but especially in battle scenes where you're in the thick of things instead of just being there. Last but not least, Warner did not bother with the extras, besides the crazy scenes, Eleven audio comments and various information about the characters are incredibly much to discover. A complete list of specials can be found on the right side of the details. Before I come to my conclusion, there is the episode guide of the fourth season:
